Stanthorpe Jockey Club
Stanthorpe Jockey Club has been acclaimed as a successful model for sustainable country racing. It hosts the Stanthorpe Cup on the third Saturday in October (Caulfield Cup Day) at Armstrong Park just west of the town of Stanthorpe.

Stanthorpe Sports and Country Club

The Stanthorpe Sports and Country Club caters for the golfers, bowlers and croquet players on the Southern Downs as well as the many visitors to the area.

The Club boasts a licensed reception venue/restaurant capable of seating up to 100 guests, gaming facilities, and is open 7 days a week. Email the Club or call (07) 4681 1276 for more information.

The Golf facilities includes golf club, hand cart and motorised buggy and club hire as well as regular competitions.

There are 2 bowls rinks with good sand ditches and shaded seating areas.

The croquet rink has plenty of seating and is currently being readied for Gateball.

The Granite Belt Maze
There is a large timber maze & there is a children's maze.
A giant chess board & a nine hole mini golf to test your skill.

You can get lost in our mazes, with dozens of different puzzles to stimulate the mind.
Our puzzles are unique & can only be solved, by seaching for your individual clues at each dead end in the maze.

Then wander around the gardens & frog ponds. It's a maze outside the maze.

We cater for all ages with disabled facilities & wheelchair access to most areas.

The kiosk offers tea, coffee (cappuccino's), slushi's, ice-cream's & cold drinks.

Hot pies & sausage rolls, lollies, chips & timber puzzles to try and buy.

Tables handy to kiosk & seating throughout the gardens.

Operating times.

Open 6 days, 9.30am to 4.30pm, closed Wednesdays.

QLD state school holidays open everyday. 9.30am to 4.30pm.

Closed, Xmas, Boxing, , Anzac day .

The Granite Belt Maze closes for 2 weeks in February (1st to the 14th) and 2 weeks in November (1st to the 14th).
