Granite Ridge Wines
The cellar door to Granite Ridge Wines (formerly Denlana Ferguson Estate Wines) has been open since late 1996. In this time it has produced Queensland’s best Cabernet two years in succession.
Our Goldies Unwooded Chardonnay has been given the distinction of selection as the official Parliamentary Wine of the Parliament of Queensland — the first time in history that a Queensland wine has been awarded this status.
Dennis Ferguson founded the winery in 1995 and the first vintage produced one trophy and two medals — an outstanding result for the fledgling vineyard. Success has continued to breed success and now the wines produced continue to grow in stature and flavour. Granite Ridge Wines is a boutique winery that is starting to make an impact on the wider Australian wine-making map.
All of the wine produced by Granite Ridge Wines — dry whites, dry reds, sweet and fortified wines — are all available for tasting and purchase at the cellar door of the winery. They can also be purchased by mail order. Refer to the Orders section of this site for a comprehensive list of the wines available.

Hidden Creek
Vineyard Winery & Cafe is situated in the beautiful rugged high altitude hills of Queensland's Granite Belt (at 980 metres above sea level, about 3 hours drive from Brisbane), our estate has hot summers and bitterly cold winters. This climate together with the arid granite rocky soils draws similar comparisons to inland European regions such as northern Spain, the inland south west of France around Cahors and Gaillac, and the upper Rhone Valley in France. These regions have a tradition of delicious characterful wines that are wonderful accompaniments to food. At Hidden Creek we have adopted the inspiration of these regions. Come see us and relax in the tranquil gardens beside our lake where you can enjoy the peacefull surrounds whilst sipping on some of our exceptional wines and indulging on some tasty treats from the cafe'.

Pyramids Road Wines
Pyramids Road operates a vineyard, winery and cellar door. Warren and Sue nurture the vines through spring and summer, ready for picking at vintage. Visit our cellar door during vintage and watch the crushing, ferments and pressing from the cellar door window. This is one of the more exciting times of the year and we invite you to join us at vintage.
On your visit to our winery, you’ll discover that we delight in telling stories of our beginnings in the wine industry from the early days of planting to the heady moments of winning awards. Our wines tell a story too. From the fruit in the vineyard to the wine in the barrel, the varieties are all very distinctive. The Merlot tells you of soft tannin and cherry fruit. The Verdelho is passionfruit and great with seafood. The Cabernet is mint and sweet berries. The Shiraz is cinnamon and cloves, dark berry fruit and spice. All the wines are made on site by Warren who finished his associate degree at Charles Sturt Uni in 2001. With only a small range of wines and a 1.5 hectare vineyard, we are able to concentrate on high quality, both in the vineyard and the winery. We are determined to remain a small producer focused on small volumes of high quality wines. We aim to build a customer base on excellent service and outstanding quality.

Ravens Croft Wines
I've been making wines for 18 years. After qualifying at Elsenberg, Stellenbosch, South Africa, in 1988, I travelled the wine regions of Europe and Australia culminating in a vintage under the famous Murray Tyrell at Tyrells' in the Hunter Valley. Upon returning to South Africa, I was appointed Winemaker at Onverwacht Wine Estate in the Western Cape, where I spent 2 years.
Upon immigrating to Australia in 1992, I made award winning wines at Capel Vale Wines and Wise Winery in the Margaret River Region of Western Australia until 1997.
The desire to produce my own wines, brought me to the Granite Belt in 1998. After a stint at Ballandean Estate, I formed my own contract wine making company, Ravens Croft Wines Pty Ltd.
I now produce the my own label, Ravens Croft Wines, while still making wine for my contractors.
RAVENS CROFT WINES is open friday to sunday from 10 am till 4.30pm. Other times or to enjoy the sunsets please phone

The Bramble Patch
Set in the heart of the Granite Belt 15km south of Stanthorpe, the Bramble Patch occupies picturesque property tucked away high in the hills above Glen Aplin. At an altitude of 850m, we enjoy crisp frosty winters and mild summers, making our property a treat to visit all year round.
A family operated business since 1994, we manufacture a range of over 60 award winning preserves in our on site factory.
2010 has seen great success at the Hobart, Sydney & Melbourne Fine Food Awards with the Bramble Patch bringing home 4 Gold medals, 1 Silver and 5 Bronze, confirming our place amongst gourmet producers from around Australia!
With everything from jams, sauces, coulis, vinegars, chutney's, pickles and fruit pastes, as well as fortified berry wines, there is something to tempt everyone's tastebuds. With everything available for testing you can also "try before you buy", which is all part of the fun! While a large part of our product range features berries, we also utilise the abundent fruit and vegetables available here on the Granite Belt including eggplants, tomatoes, capsicums, figs, quinces and grapes, with many of these forming the base for our most popular products. Our current number one seller is Eggplant Kassoundi - a spicy Indian style eggplant chutney.
The Bramble Patch is definitely a food lovers heaven! As well as our delicious gourmet products we serve a range of luscious berry desserts that can be enjoyed with an espresso coffee, either next to the roaring log fire during winter, or in our leafy, manicured gardens during the warmer months. Try a sensational Hot Waffle, house-made Blackberry & Apple Pies (during Winter), freshly prepared Poffertjes (mini Dutch pancakes), or our very own "Ice Burger" - a chocolate sponge filled with ice-cream and berry sorbet that is warmed and then smothered in our Bramble Patch berry coulis! The kids will also love to watch our famous ice-cream machine churn them out a yummy berry ice-cream while they wait! So, based on this, make sure you plan your visit to The Bramble Patch to coincide with morning or afternoon tea, or enjoy lunch at one of the wineries and finish off with dessert here. We also like to say that "life is short - and there is nothing wrong with dessert for lunch!"
The Bramble Patch is simply a great place to stop and appreciate our serene, country surroundings - a unique concept not to be missed on any trip to the Granite Belt, that will be enjoyed by all of the family.
Groups are very welcome, although we do encourage bookings to ensure you have the best possible Bramble Patch experience.

Tobin Wines
We have great belief in the French concept of 'terroir', as the French say a 'sense of place where the grapes grow'... that sense of place is the micro-climate in the vineyard or even within a patch of grapes.
Temperature, humidity, sunlight, wind, rainfall, aspect and soil type... it is this combination of factors which is responsible for the wonderful flavour characteristics inherent in a particular patch of grapes. In a single vineyard situation those characters will change from year to year depending on the seasons.
Tobin Wine took great pain to select a site for our vineyard with north facing slope, granitic free draining soils in Ballandean, the heart of the Granite Belt. The best part of the last decade has been spent guiding the vines to maturity and ability to produce premium fruit quality.
Our Limited Edition wines reflect that 'sense of place' making them truly unique.

Wild Soul
Organic dry red wines made on Beth and Andy's very small family operated vineyard and winery, relying on the weather , friends and visitors who return to help pick , crush , press and bottle. As we only use our own grapes , each vintage reflects the growing season, with minimal intervention in the winery. The grapes are hand picked, open fermented, basket pressed and barrel matured in a mix of american and french oak. There is no filtering and the wine is bottled by a simple gravity system and hand corked. in the autumn of 2008 i returned to biodynamic growing in the vineyard.
