Who has Strange Birds

Trail map Strange Bird wines  Trail Participants Facebook
Today there are 20 participating cellar doors in the Queensland wine capital (the Granite Belt) which have alternative grape varieties ready for purchase. Some of these wineries are our largest producers, some are small producers.  Whatever the size of the operation and the volume of wine for sale, all these winemakers are passionate about what they do and they invite you to meet their Strange Birds.  Look out for the bird symbol and ask them to tell you more about their wines.

Virtually all the participating winery cellar door outlets are are based on the Granite Belt  - home of the Strange Bird concept.  These are the current participating cellar doors in the alternative wine trail.
