Get the full picture - To help you explore the Strange Bird trail we've produced a map which you can download from this site. The trail takes you through Queensland's premier wine region, the Granite Belt. This is more than a map and contains:
- a list of participating wineries with their contact details
- what varieties they produce and are ready for sale
- a pronunciation guide to these Strange Birds
- the country of origin of these grape varieties (which is why you need the pronunciation guide)
- what food complements these wines.
Strange Bird Tours -
- As with many trails you can download a map of the Strange Bird trail map and follow the trail at your own pace - dipping in and out at whim. That may suit those who want to make up their own rules and plan a voyage of viognier or to trip town Tempranillo lane.
