What is a Strange Bird

Welcome to Queensland's premier wine region - the Granite Belt. Strange Bird is simply the name given to the alternative grape varieties grown in Stanthorpe and the surrounding Granite Belt.
There are dozens of alternative grape varieties grown on the Granite Belt today. These wines are bottled and currently available for tasting on the Granite Belt's Strange Bird alternative wine trail:
