Hand-crafted products are plentiful on the Granite Belt. In addition to wine and food products there are lavender and soap products and others which our artists and crafters make.
The Visitor Information Centre is a useful one stop shop if you are in a hurry to see and buy a range of local produce as well as branded Granite Belt Wine Country merchande.
Stanthorpe apples find their way into almost every home in Queensland - well they should! Increasingly more and more of our vineyards are moving from producing table grapes to wine grapes - and the value added form of that is also finding its way into many homes as winelovers grow to appreciate the quality and unique characteristics of Granite Belt wine. Then of course we produce olives, berries, stone fruit, mushrooms plus a basket of other fruit and vegetables. Some of it is available straight from the paddock, some is value added.
We have potters, weavers, sculptors as well as artists who do wonderful things with timber and silk and metal. A useful first port of call when you visit is call into the Visitors Information Centre or telephone 1800 SO COOL.
