Amongst The Granite Belt's own talent are nationally recognised performing artists James Blundell as well as Roger Ilott & Penny Davies.  As well as these outstanding performers, there are other performing artists whose music is recorded and available on CD. The musical annual calendar of events includes major and long running events such as the Opera in the Vineyard, through to monthly concerts and performances at a growing number of wineries and restaurants.  The talent is both local and "imported" and covers everything from folk to classical.

The area is a vibrant source of creative talent and you'll find local performers pop up at various events throughout the year - whether as featured artists or simply providing background music. For aspiring thespians the Stanthorpe Little Theatre is an active group.  Stanthorpe is home to a number of organised musical groups including a pipe band and concert band.
