Music on the Granite Belt

Stanthorpe’s annual music calendar of events includes major and long running events, most of which are set in the picturesque surrounds of the Granite Belt vineyards.  Musical highlights on the Granite Belt music calendar include:

Jan           Granite Belt Blues at Lucas Estate Vineyard on New Years Day

May          Opera in the Vineyard at Ballandean Estate on May long weekend

June         Rock & Roll in the Vineyard at Lucas Estate
August     Jazz in the Vineyard at Ballandean Estate

October    Brass and Wine at Robert Channon Wines

Monthly concerts and performances are appearing at a growing number of wineries and restaurants.  The performers are both local and "imported" and the musical styles cover everything from folk to classical. 
Many of the Granite Belt wineries host regular events, from casual afternoons of blues on the deck, to chamber music overlooking the lake. Granite Belt venues hosting regular music events include the Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery, Robert Channon Wines, Lucas Estate, Qld College of Wine Tourism, and Whiskey Gully Wines.
