Stanthorpe on the Granite Belt has proved a very popular place to host meetings and conferences for small or large groups. Some recent successful conferences:
- National Seniors Forum, May 2009
- Queensland Information Centres Association AGM & Conference, February 2009
- DPI Fresh Futures in Food Conference April 2008
- South East Queensland Country Conference, November 2008 & 2007
- A busy year in 2007 with the Darling Downs Secondary Principals Conference, Queensland Health: Women's and Men's Health Seminar, Australian Winemakers & Landmark Seminar, and USQ Executives Conference.
The Queensland College of Wine Tourism (QCWT) is an invaluable asset to the Granite Belt for it’s conference and meeting facilities. The QCWT provides first class catering, meeting rooms and conference facilities in tranquil bushland surrounds overlooking the colleges’ own vineyard.
Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt offer partners a variety of attractions to visit during the conference and plenty of reasons for attendees to stay on after the conference. Whatever the reason for the meeting - business, sporting, cultural, community or social – come for the conference and stay for the weekend.
