Important Road ChangesOccasionally and due to accidents or regular maintenance by the Department of Main Roads, some roads leading to/from the Granite Belt are temproarily closed. Fortunately this does not happen often and it is beyond our control. However as and when we become aware of these disruptions we will post updates on this page. Please note:
ROADWORK UPDATE @ 11 JUNE 2010 - Cunningham Highway at The Gap
Work at The Gap has finally come to a close as of June 11. The Department of Main Roads website will be updated soon with futher details.
- For your convenience we have developed Scenic Drives map, however the closure listed in above will affect some portions of the alternative route.
- Stanthorpe Visitor Infomation Centre may be contacted daily 9-5 on 1800 SO COOL, however we may not always have the very latest information about changed traffic conditions and recommend you phone 13 19 40.
