Half Day Self Guided Walks in and around Stanthorpe

Start the day by enjoying a kaleidoscope of goodies all made, baked, sewn or grown locally at Market in the Mountains, held fortnightly in the Stanthorpe Civic Centre in Lock Street. The market is open every second Sunday from 8am-12pm all year round, located indoors for your added comfort. 
 
Browse locally handmade products just across the road at Weerona Art & Craft, offering a great selection of gift ideas and quality works of art with warm local hospitality.
 
Take a walk down memory lane and explore a unique range of collectables, reproductions and second hand furniture at Vintage Memories, just around the corner in Rogers Street.
 
If you are in the mood for a leisurely walk, try the 5.5km walking track around Quart Pot Creek, complete with amenities and BBQ areas along the way.  It’s a perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon with family and friends.
 
If you are lucky enough to be here on Saturdays 10am to 1pm , visit the Stanthorpe Pottery Club to witness local potters, sculptors and clay artists at work. You can choose from the wide range of gifts at the. Located on Wallangarra Road, towards the southern edge of town.
 
Enjoy morning tea at the Quart Pot Bake House or a hearty lunch at the RSL in Marsh Street.  Your other option is to pop into the cafe at the Visitor Information Centre on the creek.
