GBWT Membership

Granite Belt Wine & Tourism (GBWT) is a not for profit community based organisation. It currently has in excess of 100 Full Members, a rapidly expanding list of Associate Members and an elected Management Committee.

GBWT operates the Stanthorpe Visitor Information Centre (VIC) and promotion of the Granite Belt. Income is derived from members, Council and retail sales through the Visitor Information Centre.

Members interests are furthered in four major ways:

• Advocacy - representing members’ interests with government and other stakeholders.
• Promotion - promoting the region and members’ businesses. We are committed to marketing the Granite Belt as Queensland’s premier wine tourism region.
• Service - best practice management of the Visitor Information Centre for the benefit of members and providing on-going support to members.
• Development - maintaining, developing and enforcing product and service standards.

Joining the Association will not only help your business, it will help the Association to help you. The more wine, tourism and associated businesses that become members, the more effective the Association will be in furthering the interests of all members.
