Farmers & Markets

Farmers Markets have been held in Stanthorpe but there is currently no regular dedicated farmers market.  However local produce is regularly available at our Market in the Mountains, the Wallangarra Border markets and markets at Glen Aplin hall. A number of small food retailers also sell fresh local produce in season. 

Granite Belt Flavours and Queensland Regional Flavours are held at Brisbane's South Bank showcase the region's wine, food and pamper products.  

The markets are held in Little Stanley Street, South Bank from 10am to 3pm on these dates:

Following a get together in 2008 of like-minded producers, Granite Belt Organic Growers (GBOG) became an alliance of certified organic and biodynamic farmers and food processors on the Granite Belt in southern Queensland. These organic producers work together to market produce at the Northey Street Organic Farmers Markets at Windsor in Brisbane.
