Wine lovers can now use a Cellar Door Pass smart card to visit the state’s premier wine region and purchase some of the Granite Belt’s top drops.
Since the wine touring package Cellar Door Pass was introduced into Australia in 2003, it has been adopted by more than 100 wineries in Australia’s leading wine regions. Cellar Door Pass packages are sold throughout Australia with Queensland's Granite Belt now included in the options.
The new Cellar Door Pass Granite Belt package is the first of its kind for Queensland. The package uses smartcard technology to provide quick, cashless access to to six well-known Stanthorpe wineries. South of Stanthorpe these are Ballandean Estate, Golden Grove Estate, Granite Ridge, and Symphony Hill and just off the northern end of the New England Highway they are Heritage Estate and Summit Estate.
For wine consumers across the country, the package uncorks VIP treatment to them when they visit participating cellar doors. The introduction of Queensland’s Granite Belt Cellar Door Pass places the Granite Belt in line with other major wine regions in Australia.
