Stanthorpe Cooking Schools
Local chefs and restaurants host regular cooking schools for the novice through to the experienced cook. The Qld College of Wine Tourism host regular themed cooking evenings. Olga and Agnes, Stanthorpe’s fine food delicatessan, host regular 'experiences' with local products. The Granite Belt is home to the world's first College of Wine Tourism. This $6.5 million purpose-built education and training institute is located on the Stanthorpe highway by-pass, almost opposite Stanthorpe State High School campus. Students produce wine under the Banca Ridge label sourced from grapes in its own vineyard. Check the College website for course details.
