A relaxing and unique way to experience the Granite Belt without the hassle of road travel. This all-inclusive trip departs from Brisbane's Roma Street at 7:00am on Saturday 21st February, climbing over the Great Dividing Range through Toowoomba and then onto Stanthorpe.  Granite Belt wines are served throughout the journey - sparkling, whites and reds including Strange Birds are available for tasting.  Lunch and refreshments are served onboard ...what a great way to travel - and not a traffic jam in sight!
Once "ashore", your tour bus takes you to several wineries, to dinner, bed and breakfast, one last winetasting then it's all aboard for the return journey.

The return journey departs at 10am on Sunday, 22nd February with lunch served on board.

Price is $425 with discounts for group bookings of ten or more.  The price includes all rail travel, coach transfers at Stanthorpe, all meals, accommodation in Stanthorpe on a share basis and wine tastings.

The 18th biennial Stanthorpe Art Festival, held in conjunction with the Apple and Grape Harvest Festival, showcases a range of contemporary Australian visual arts practices. With a first prize of $10 000 on offer and with up to $25 000 of artworks to be acquired for the Southern Downs Regional Art Collection, this exciting exhibition holds something for everyone. This years judge is Australian author and Sydney Morning Herald art critic John McDonald, with the exhibition to be officially opened by Her Excellency, Penelope Wensley A.O., The Govenor of Queensland, on February 26th at 6:20pm. Tickets for the gala opening are available by contacting the Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery on 07 46 81 1874.
