During winter we'll be loading a series of new pages telling you more about the events which are on during Primavera - which is the Granite Belt celebration of Spring. Primavera translates from the Italian word meaning spring, or spring style. Click on the Primavera tab in the Events section or access this via the Primavera logo on the home page. On the Granite Belt Primavera is a celebration of the region's food and wine, against the backdrop of the blossoming fruit trees and budding grape vines. It is a time when new vintage wines are released during a series of events throughout the Queensland wine capital. Some of these are major annual events and concerts, others are smaller, more intimate lunches, dinners and wine tastings.
