TWISTED GUM WINES - Taste the difference!
All our vines are dry grown (unirrigated) which means that the vines produce small amounts of fruit with incredible flavours.
All our vines are also hand pruned and hand harvested.
We then produce small batches of premium-quality, single-vineyard wines that impress both wine consumers and judges.
Our wines have won many awards (see below).
TWISTED GUM VINEYARD COTTAGE - Take a true holiday!
Stroll through the vineyard - we have 3 hectares of hand-tended vineyard which is divided up into small blocks - see if you can identify the Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Black Muscat, Chardonnay, Semillon and Verdelho vines.
Explore the rugged bushland that covers much of our 40 hectare property - admire the stunning granite rocks, delicate wildflowers and the impressive orange-barked twisted gum trees - and experience the amazing bird life.
Visit the famous Girraween National Park, which you can see from our property (10 minutes by car).
Go wine tasting in some of the 50+ wineries which surround us here in the Granite Belt, Queensland's premier wine district.
Enjoy a relaxing lunch in the Hidden Creek Cafe (2 minutes walk) or take a short drive to picturesque Ballandean Village where you can find quality pub meals at Ballandean Tavern or dine in style in Shiraz Restaurant or Vineyard Cottages Restaurant.
Sip a glass of Granite Belt wine on the deck and enjoy the view over vineyards and bushland.
Or just curl up with a good book in front of the toasty wood fire.
