Lucas Estate makes small quantities of handcrafted wines in their state of the art winery. The Cellar door and cafe looks over the vineyard and the wildlife that visit; the property is registered "Land for Wildlife".
The cellar door showcases local preserves, and Mt Stirling's Olive products. On show, and available for sale are artworks by local artists, including resident artist Louise Samuel. We have a wide range of recipe, wine and general interest books. We have local woodworks and a range of general giftware.
There is live music on the first Sunday of the month plus our big event: Granite Belt Blues on New Years Day - every year.

Latest News
More improvements to the Cellar Door and public area:
A new range of giftware is now available and the wine bar area has been upgraded with a new bar construction with hand painted bar surface (done by the winemaker herself).
Outside we have put in a fire break that has created a lovely open area around the cellar door. We have done some landscaping with the new gardens now offering a colourful display.
On the vineyard front: the hot dry 2013 weather has kept any desease away throughout the region and we are enjoying a great vintage year. |
